This is a songbird.A songbird is a bird belonging to the order of Passeriformes in which the vocal organ is developed in such a way as to produce various sound notes, commonly known as bird song. There is evidence to suggest that songbirds evolved about 50 million years ago in the western part of Gondwana that later became Australia, New Zealand, New Guinea and Antarctica, before spreading around the world.[
Although many songbirds have songs which are pleasant to the human ear, this is not invariably the case. Many members of the crow family make croaks or screeches which sound harsh to humans.

This is the Black Breasted Leaf Turtle. The Ryukyu Black-breasted Leaf Turtle or Ryukyu Leaf Turtle, Geoemyda japonica, is a species of turtle in the family Geoemydidae. It is endemic to the Ryukyu Islands in Japan. In 1975 the species was designated a National Natural Monument of Japan.[It grows to approximately 5–6 inches long. In captivity it feeds on worms, snails, insects, and fruit. Due to its rarity and very attractive appearance, this species is highly coveted by turtle collectors worldwide.
At first it was considered a subspecies of Geoemyda spengleri, and named Geoemyda spengleri japonica. It was redescribed as a separate species and given its current binomial name in 1992.
Hybrids between different species of Geoemydidae are rather commonplace. This species is known to hybridize with males of the Cuora flavomarginata in captivity and in the wild.[

Tihs is a Short-legged Horn Toad. The horny toad is really not an amphibian (or frog), but is a reptile lizard that is found in the state of Texas and Southwestern United States. There are actually 13 known species of horned lizards. The largest is the Giant Horned Lizard, and the smallest is the Pygmy Horned Lizard. The horned lizard, aka horny toad has spiked scales and a fat body somewhat like the ones portrayed on our logo and TCU wall ornament above. The head is protected by a helmet of spikes and the back and sides are protected as well by smaller spikes. Thirty years ago the Texas horned toad was seen readily but now it is scarce and considered threatened due to modernization, imported fire ants, and insecticides. The native Americans respected the horny toad lizard at least a thousand or so years. Many tribes consider them magical and are considered good luck.

This is a Monk Seal.
The Mediterranean Monk Seal (Monachus monachus) is a pinniped belonging to the Phocidae family: at some 350-450 remaining individuals it is believed to be the world's second rarest pinniped and one of the most endangered mammals in the world[.
It is present in parts of the Mediterranean Sea and the Eastern Atlantic Ocean waters around the Tropic of Cancer as well.
This species of monk seal grows from approximately 80 cm long at birth to an average of 2.40 m in adults. The latter weigh up to 320 kg, females being slightly smaller than males.
Pups are born in a black natal fur, often with a white patch beneath whose shape can be used to identify individuals for the rest of their lives. The average lifespan of these animals is unknown, but is thought to be somewhere around 20–25 years; reproductive maturity is reached at around age four

This is a Madagascar Big headed. The Madagascar Big Headed Turtle is a turtle native to the waters of permanent slow moving rivers and lakes in western Madagascar. These turtles, although they are endangered (the 13th most endangered turtle, according to the top 25 most endangered turtles list, issued May 2003), they are commonly eaten for food but they are still commonly shipped from Madagascar to Asia to help meet the demand of Asia's traditional medicine market. A captive breeding program has also been started to prevent the species from becoming extinct. The Turtle Conservation Fund (TCF) intends to raise USD$5.6 million to cover a five year 'Global Action Plan' which includes captive breeding and reintroduction projects, trade monitoring, new rescue centers, local conservation plans, and educational programs. A little known fact about these enigmatic creatures is that they can swim faster than any other turtle on the market. Also in some parts of Asia they are raced and the losers eaten or sold at markets.
